Gujarat’s capital city Gandhinagar celebrates it’s birthday today. It depicts a remarkable journey of development. Today as people flock the city, they are pleasantly surprised at the diversity it offers. While it is the IT hub of the state, Gandhinagar also retains a distinct identity being the green capital of the state.

Gandhinagar combines a perfect balance of natural elegance and modern planning. Wherever one goes, the greenery follows. It also houses some futuristic initiatives of the Gujarat Government. With the grand Mahatma Mandir present and the GIFT City coming up in addition to Akshardham, the city is a delight for it’s citizens and the tourists. The upcoming Metro Rail project would further augment the charm of the city.
