The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has paid tributes to brave Puli Thevar on his birth anniversary.
The Prime Minister tweeted;
"I pay homage to the brave Puli Thevar on his birth anniversary. His valour and determination give inspiration to countless people. He was at the forefront of resisting imperialism. He always fought for the people."
"மாவீரன் பூலித்தேவருக்கு அவரது பிறந்த நாளில் வணக்கங்களை செலுத்துகிறேன். அவரது வீரமும் உறுதிப்பாடும் எண்ணற்றோருக்கு ஊக்கமளித்து வருகிறது. முன்னணியில் நின்று அந்நிய ஏகாதிபத்தியத்தை எதிர்த்து போரிட்டவர். மக்களுக்காக எப்போதும் தளராது பாடுபட்டவர்."
