Shri Narendra Modi meets Amitabh Bachchan, says ‘Thank you’ to him

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today paid courtesy visit to Gujarat Tourism brand ambassador Shri Amitabh Bachchan in Ahmedabad.

The Chief Minister heartily thanked Shri Amitabh Bachchan for his selfless contribution in presenting Gujarat’s tourism treasure before the world. The Chief Minister said that Gujarat has achieved a proud position in the atlas of world tourism, and Shri Amitabhji’s contribution is very important in this.

 

Shri Bachchan listened to the Chief Minister about distinctness of Kutchi lifestyle, spiritual experience in white rann, buffalo breeds of Banni, Patan’s Ranki vav, Modhera’s sun temple, Gujarat’s water management.

Shri Kamlesh Patel, Chairman of Gujarat Tourism Corporation and Shri Vipul Mitra, Principal Secretary, Tourism were present in this meeting.
