"Shri Narendra Modi inaugurates Swarnim Sankul-1, a new building containing the Chief Minister’s Office and the office of other Cabinet Ministers"

On Monday 15th April 2013 Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the Swarnim Sankul 1 in Gandhinagar. Swarnim Sankul-1 is situated in the New Secretariat complex where the State Assembly and the Secretariat is situated. The new building will have the office of the Honorable Chief Minister along with the Cabinet Ministers of Gujarat.

The secretariat’s senior most Class IV employee from the Tribal community Shri Savjibhai Damor lit the ceremonial lamp on the occasion.

The building has fours floors and contains other facilities like conference rooms, rooms for Minister’s staff etc.

A large number of people were present when Shri Modi inaugurated the building. The top Cabinet Ministers were also present on the occasion. Chief Secretary Shri Varesh Sinha was present with several top officials.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, visited and offered prayers at the Arulmigu Subramaniyaswamy Temple in Thirupparankundram, Madurai today.

During his visit to the sacred temple, the Prime Minister sought blessings for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of all citizens. The Prime Minister expressed his hope that Lord Murugan would continue to guide us with strength, courage, and wisdom.

The Prime Minister shared his sentiments with the invocation, "Vetrivel Muruganukku Arogara!"
