The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief on the passing away of Dr. Temsüla Ao who played a pivotal role in popularising the wonderful Naga culture through her literary works.

The Prime Minister tweeted;

“Saddened by the passing away of Dr. Temsüla Ao, who played a pivotal role in popularising the wonderful Naga culture through her literary works. Her efforts in the fields of education and culture were noteworthy. Condolences to her family and friends. May her soul rest in peace.”

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam paying homage to Sage Patanjali and highlighting the profound benefits of Yoga. Shri Modi observed that the regular practice of Yoga keeps the body healthy and the mind calm, noting that making it a part of one's daily routine makes life balanced and energetic.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"योग का नियमित अभ्यास तन को स्वस्थ और मन को शांत रखता है। इसे अपनी दिनचर्या का हिस्सा बनाने से जीवन संतुलित और ऊर्जावान बनता है।

योगेन चित्तस्य पदेन वाचां
मलं शरीरस्य च वैद्यकेन।

योऽपाकरोत् तं परवरं मुनीनां
पतञ्जलिं प्राञ्जलिरानतोऽस्मि॥"

I bow down with folded palms to Sage Patanjali, the most exalted among the contemplative sages, who has removed impurity of the mind-content through Yoga, of speech through grammar and of the body through Ayurveda.
