Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi administered the pledge of Swarnim Gujarat to the people of eastern tribal belt at Dahod today. Gujarat is steadfastly trading the path of prosperity and development, with full strength and staunch public support, the eastern parts of the state is going to complete all the basic development works before the golden jubilee of the state.

The Swarnim- Sanklpa Jyot has inspired the citizens of 160 towns spreading the laudable aim to architect Swarnim Gujarat, that is to be done resolve by resolve. More than 1Lakh Adivasies had turned up to welcome the Sanklpa Jyoti Rath. Chief Minister dedicated and performed foundation stone laying ceremony of various development works-at a cost of Rs 26 Crores. He had also announced some of the new works, which are to be undertaken in the due course of time, which includes creating basic amenities and infrastructure projects for Dahod district.

To ensure dignity to the retiring Anganwadi worker, Chief Minister declared an ambitious scheme- Yashoda Gaurav Nidhi-, under the scheme the retiring Anganwadi Women might get cash benefit up to Rs.2 lakhs. With the cash benefits, she can live a respectful retiring life. He also announced that all the Anganwadies of the sate would be known as a “Nandghar”. He felicitated the Anganwadi workers as Mata-Yashoda.

Appreciating the tremendous social contribution, as people are donating Sukhadi for the kids of Anganwadies all across the State. The tremendous outcomes of the Chiranjeev Yojana have motivated the developing countries to emulate the scheme. It has successfully reduced mother mortality rates, now the Balsakha -schemes offers assistance of pediatricians, which is going to tackle the complications with the new born babies .The PPP model under which the expert doctors are roped in, which has earned accolades from all the strata. State Government is paying due attention to education, healthcare, upliftment of underprivileged and poor classes along with the development.

The gifts received by the Chief Minister gets publicly auctioned, which forms the Kanya Kelavani Nidhi, the amount of the Nidhi-Fund of Rs 20Crores- is being utilized to felicitate the bright girls at every taluka. The Kanya Kelvani Rathyatra has generated awareness among the people to educate the girl child, enrolment of a child in the moods of festivity, which has brought upon quality changes in the primary education.

He elaborated upon the various steps taken up by his government to empower the women. They are linked with many economic activities at village level, leading to the economic empowerment of the women.

Minister of Home Shri Amitbhai Shah presented the replica of “Suwarna Kalash” to the C.M.

Education Minister Shri Ramanlal Vora, Minister of State for Tribal Welfare Shri Jashvant Bhabhor, former M.P. Shri Bhupendrasinh Solanki had also addressed the gathering.

C.M flagged of the six S.T Coaches, which is taking the children of Eklavya schools on tour.

MLAs, office bearers, eminent leaders and President of District-Taluka Panchayats were also present.

Prime Minister’s visit to Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Mr. Prabowo Subianto, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will pay a visit to Indonesia from 6-8 July, 2026. This will be Prime Minister’s fourth visit to Indonesia and his first bilateral visit since the elevation of India-Indonesia ties to the level of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in May 2018. During the visit, Prime Minister will hold bilateral discussions with President Prabowo and review the progress made in the partnership. In Jakarta, Prime Minister will address a large gathering of the Indian Diaspora. India and Indonesia share historical and warm people-to-people ties. In keeping with these special bonds, Prime Minister will visit the Prambanan Temple complex at Yogyakarta, a prominent UNESCO world heritage site in Indonesia.

From Indonesia, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Australia, the Honourable Anthony Albanese MP, Prime Minister will travel to Melbourne from 8-10 July, 2026. In Melbourne, Prime Minister will hold bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Albanese. He will also call on the Governor General of Australia, the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC. During his visit, Prime Minister will also participate in the India-Australia CEOs Forum, where he will address a gathering of top business leaders from both countries. Prime Minister will also address a large gathering of the Indian Diaspora, who constitute a strong pillar of the India-Australia relationship.

From Melbourne, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Rt Honourable Christopher Luxon, Prime Minister will travel to Auckland for a state visit from 10-11 July, 2026. This will be the first state visit of an Indian Prime Minister to New Zealand in four decades. In Auckland, Prime Minister will hold bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Luxon and review the entire gamut of the bilateral relationship, which has seen significant progress in the last two years, especially in the areas of trade and commerce and defence. While in Auckland, Prime Minister will also interact with prominent business and sports personalities. In a reflection of the strong people-to-people ties that exist between India and New Zealand, Prime Minister will address a large gathering of the Indian Diaspora during the visit.
