Chief Minister resolves for fixing a ‘Time-Capsule’ at Mahatma Mandir

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi, on Sunday, expressed his resolve to fix a time-capsule at Mahatma Mandir, which is being built in Gandhinagar. It strives to emerge as the centre of study and research for the historians, the historic document may record the tremendous contribution received from the people, added CM.

The pious water and soil from across the State arrives at Gujarat’s capital. Chief Minister received the Kalash containing pious water and soil from the office-bearers of village panchayats, and leaders of local –bodies. On the 7th Day of the Abhiyan, Chief Minister received as many as 1452 Kalash today.

Pujya Bapu believed in cleanliness. On Gujarat’s Golden Jubilee, CM gave a call for successful implementation of ‘total-sanitation-project’. He observed that it is the right way to offer tributes to Pujya Bapu. An intensive sanitation drive must ensure that every family gets sanitation-block facility, State Government is ready to help in implementing the project, said CM.

CM inspired the Village Panchayat leaders to create an appropriate environment, so that the healthy competition between villages may deliver desired outcomes.

Minister of State Shri Parbat Patel highlighted the landmark achievements of Gujarat Government.

Parliamentary Secretary Shri Harshad Vasava delivered welcome address. Revenue Commissioner Shri Arun Sutariya proposed vote of thanks.

Education Minister Shri Ramanlal Vora, Ex. Minister and MLA Shri Anil Patel, Parliamentary Secretary Shri L.T. Rajani, MLAs, eminent leaders and top officials were among others who attended the function.

Prime Minister expresses grief over mishap in Coimbatore

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed deep anguish over the mishap in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Shri Modi said that he is distressed to hear about the incident and extended his heartfelt condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the mishap.
