Ministers, MPs, MLAs and religious heads to join fast
Jamnagar, October 15: The stage is set for Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s one-day Sadbhavna Mission on Sunday (October 16, 2011) at famous Dwarka in Jamnagar district, known as Lord Krishna’s land.A number of Ministers, Members of Parliament and of Legislative Assembly, besides religious heads are also scheduled to participate in the day’s fasting
The one-day fast to be observed by Mr. Modi is the follow-up of three-day Sadbhavna fast he had observed in Ahmedabad to spread the message of unity, harmony and peace in the world. He is scheduled to observe a day’s fast in each of the 25 districts in the State.
While the programme is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., Mr. Modi will arrive at the stage at around 10.15 a.m. to be followed by prayer meeting, blessings by heads of various religious groups at 10.30 a.m. and meeting people from cross-section of the people from 11.30 a.m., addressing women and young leaders from 3.30 to 5 p.m. and future programmes.

Information Dept to organize exhibition during Sadbhavan Mission in Dwarka
Jamnagar: State’s Information Dep artment is going to organize an exhibition on the occ asion of S adbhavana Mission programme to be held on October 16 in Dwarka in the presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi. The exhibition will be held under a dome in the compound behind Circuit House. People can view the exhibition on free-of-cost.
The exhibition will showc ase through the audio-visu al medium the development works undertaken by the state government during the last dec ade. It will also showcase the development works done in Jamnagar district. The exhibition has been prepared under the guidance of Joint Director of Information Natubhai P armar and Deputy Director of Information K A Karmata. The exhibition can be visited throughout the time period of the S adbhavna programme. People can also subscribe the publications ‘Gujarat’ and the ‘Rajgar Samachar’ on the venue.
