Gandhinagar, Friday: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated world-class ‘Smart City Experience Centre’ on the Mahatma Mandir premises here, depicting the shape of Smart City being set up as a Special Investment Region (SIR) by Government of Gujarat.
The Smart City project is being set up in collaboration with Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) Corporation and Cisco System, on the lines of ‘Rurban’ concept, providing urban housing, educational and health facilities in rural areas.
