Outlining the essence of ‘Vanche Gujarat’ mission, Chief Minister said that at the time when our lives have become robotic, books are the way out from this unfortunate situation. Our social structure has been immerged from the ‘granths’ like Ramayan and Mahabharat. From Upanishads till now, all the ages have worshiped the power of knowledge. Unfortunately today, ‘Information’ is taking the place of ‘Knowledge’. In the time of information overload only knowledge can lead us to light, he said.

On the powers of reading he said that reading does not just provide knowledge, it inspires the intellectuality to evoke and ultimately it leads to the growth.
