Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Chief Minister Narendra Modi today unveiled Hindi poetess Ritupriya Khare’s coffee table book on Gujarat titled ‘‘Jai Jai Gujarat – Jeevan Hey Utsav Jahan’, a collection of 50 Hindi poems on the characteristics of development under the leadership of Mr. Modi.

Mr. Modi complimented the poetess and particularly appreciated a non-Gujarati poetess’ love for Gujarat and her decision to donate the proceeds of the sales to the Chief Minister’s Kanya Kelavni Nidhi for the cause of girls’ education.

The poetess penned the poems during her husband, a Central Government officer posting in Gujarat between 2004 and 2009.

Information Commissioner Bhagyesh Jha and the family members of the poetess were present on the occasion.
