Ahmedabad, Saturday: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi during his stay in New Delhi today paid courtesy call on President Mr. Pranab Mukherjee and Vice-President Dr Hamid Ansari.

Mr. Modi congratulated Mr. Mukherjee on his being elected as the nation’s constitutional head on behalf of the state government and the people of the state.

Mr. Modi congratulated Dr. Ansari on being elected Vice-President for the second term on behalf of the state government and the people of the state.

    Really you are great. No other Chief Minister has thought of meeting President and Vice President. You are visionary and proactive to the situation.

    You have achieved accolade in India and abroad. Now you have to look after pity matter of poor individuals of your own state,who are getting minimum pension below Rs. 500. Other states have enacted laws so that small retirees can get minimum Rs. 1000 as monthly pension. This will cover nearly more than 20 lacs of retirees, who will not only give you vote but also blessing from them.

    Your action is enough for development of the state which is visible. As an elderly parsi citizen I advise you to use restrain in your language befitting to your status and do not go for cheap popularity. Before I end you have all potential of PM and during my life time I want to see you in this position. But what will happen to our state without you.
