Women from different class of the society today tied rakhi to Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi today morning on the occassion of Raksha bandhan. From the early morning today women in different groups started arriving at Chief Minister's residence including Revenue Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel, MLA Mrs. Gitaben Patel, Mrs. Madhuben Patel of pradesh BJP women wing, women from Maninagar constituency, Brahma Kumari Sarladevi and others from Brahmakumari Prajapita Vishva Vidhyalaya and the women from labour class families.

Chief Minister said that Raksha Bandhan is a part of the great Indian culture and is a festival that strengthens the divine love between brother and sister. The festival also helps thousands of families to earn their livelihood as they are engaged in making rakhi.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has greeted people on Navreh.

In a tweet, Shri Modi said

“Navreh greetings to you all! On the special occassion of Navreh, praying for a year filled with joy and success. I also pray for the good health and well-being of everyone.”
