Women from different class of the society today tied rakhi to Chief Minister Mr. Narendra Modi today morning on the occassion of Raksha bandhan. From the early morning today women in different groups started arriving at Chief Minister's residence including Revenue Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel, MLA Mrs. Gitaben Patel, Mrs. Madhuben Patel of pradesh BJP women wing, women from Maninagar constituency, Brahma Kumari Sarladevi and others from Brahmakumari Prajapita Vishva Vidhyalaya and the women from labour class families.

Chief Minister said that Raksha Bandhan is a part of the great Indian culture and is a festival that strengthens the divine love between brother and sister. The festival also helps thousands of families to earn their livelihood as they are engaged in making rakhi.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi met H.E. Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on 1 December 2023, on the sidelines of COP-28 Summit in the UAE.

Prime Minister thanked President Mirziyoyev for Uzbekistan’s participation in Voice of Global South Summit.

Both leaders exchanged views on deepening their wide ranging bilateral relations in the areas of health, education, pharmaceuticals and traditional medicine. Prime Minister also assured India's support to expand our development partnership with Uzbekistan.
