PM Modi urges countrymen to participate and make the Digital Census 2027 a success in Mann Ki Baat

In this month’s Mann Ki Baat episode, PM Modi highlighted India’s strides in the nuclear and wind energy sectors. He also touched upon several important topics, including the teachings of Bhagwan Buddha, Beating Retreat ceremony, nature conservation, bamboo sector, ancient texts and the Mathematical Olympiad Programme. The PM also spoke about the ongoing Digital Census campaign and urged everyone to participate in the process.

While inaugurating Buddha Jayanti 2018 celebrations, PM Modi highlighted several aspects of Lord Buddha’s life and how the Government of India was dedicatedly working towards welfare of people keeping in His ideals in mind. He said that Lord Buddha’s life gave the message of equality, harmony and humility. Shri Modi also spoke about the work being done to create a Buddhist Circuit to connect several sites pertaining to Buddhism in India and in the neighbouring nations.
