In his speech, he highlighted the objective of the campaign as encouraging youth to stay away from the deadly menace of drugs in order for India to become a developed nation. Calling the youth India's Amrit Generation, he explained the harmful effects of drug abuse while emphasising the need to protect youth from this trap. He expressed hope that the pledge taken today will continue for the next 100 weeks.
