హరిత ఇంధనోత్పత్తిలో మహారత్న హోదా కలిగి ఉన్న కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ రంగ సంస్థ ఎన్టీపీసీకి మరింత ఆర్థిక వెసులుబాటు కల్పిస్తూ ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ అధ్యక్షతన జరిగిన ఆర్థిక వ్యవహారాల క్యాబినెట్ కమిటీ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ఎన్టీపీసీ దాని అనుబంధ సంస్థ అయిన ఎన్టీపీసీ గ్రీన్ ఎనర్జీ లిమిటెడ్ (ఎన్జీఈఎల్), అదే తరహాలో ఎన్జీఈఎల్ దాని అనుబంధ సంస్థ అయిన ఎన్టీపీసీ రెన్యూవబుల్ ఎనర్జీ లిమిటెడ్ (ఎన్ఆర్ఈఎల్), దాని ఇతర జాయింట్ వెంచర్లు లేదా అనుబంధ సంస్థల్లో హరిత ఇంధనోత్పత్తికి సంబంధించి పెట్టుబడి పెట్టేందుకు ఉన్న రూ. 7000 కోట్ల పరిమితిని రూ. రూ. 20 వేల కోట్లకు పెంచింది. 2032 నాటికి 60 గిగావాట్ల పునరుత్పాదక ఇంధన ఉత్పత్తి సామర్థ్యాన్ని సాధించాలనే లక్ష్యానికి అనుగుణంగా ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.లిగ్నోసెల్యులోజిక్ బయోమాస్, ఇతర పునరుత్పాదక ముడిసరుకులు ఉపయోగించే అధునాతన జీవ ఇంధన ప్రాజెక్టులకు ఆర్థిక సహాయం అందించడానికి “ప్రధాన్ మంత్రి జెఐ-విఎఎన్ యోజన”లో సవరణకు ఆమోదం తెలిపిన మంత్రివర్గం

Addressing the Leadership Group for Industry Transition (LEAD-IT) at COP 28, PM Modi stated that Leadership Group for Industry Transition is a robust initiative for Earth's secured future. He added that LEAD-IT initiative emboldens global low-carbon technologies and speeds up innovation.
