Cabinet approves 4-laning of Badnawar–Timarwani NH-752D stretch of the Delhi Mumbai expressway in Madhya Pradesh

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the development of a 4-lane corridor from Badnawar to Timarwani worth ₹3,839.42 crore. It will provide connectivity from Ujjain to the Timarwani interchange at the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway (DME). This will lower logistics costs, facilitate efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods and strengthen access to industrial hubs and MMLPs.

In his address at the India-Canada CEO Forum, PM Modi highlighted the emerging ties between the two countries as they steadily progress toward taking bilateral trade to 50 billion dollars. He put forward a few suggestions regarding Clean Energy, Infrastructure & Capital Partnership, AI, Manufacturing & Technology, and Food Processing. He noted that the partnership must expand beyond national capitals to states and provinces.

ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ ఆహ్వానం మేరకు ఫ్రాన్స్‌ అధ్యక్షుడు గౌరవనీయ ఇమ్మాన్యుయేల్ మాక్రాన్ ఈ నెల 17 నుంచి 19 వరకు భారత్‌లో పర్యటిస్తున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా కృత్రిమ మేధ (ఏఐ)పై ‘ఇండియా ఇంపాక్ట్ సమ్మిట్-2026’ సహా ప్రధానమంత్రి మోదీతో ద్వైపాక్షిక చర్చల్లోనూ ఆయన పాల్గొన్నారు. అంతేగాక 17న ముంబైలో ‘భారత్‌-ఫ్రాన్స్‌ ఆవిష్కరణ వార్షికోత్సవం-2026’ను వారిద్దరూ సంయుక్తంగా ప్రారంభించారు. మాక్రాన్ ప్రస్తుతం నాలుగోసారి భారత్‌ పర్యటనకు రాగా, ప్రధానమంత్రి మోదీ 2025 ఫిబ్రవరిలో ఫ్రాన్స్‌ పర్యటనకు వెళ్లివచ్చారు.
