ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోదీ 2024 జనవరి 2, 3 తేదీల్లో తమిళనాడు, లక్షద్వీప్ దీవులలో పర్యటిస్తారు. ఈ మేరకు జనవరి 2వ తేదీన ఉదయం సుమారు 10:30 గంటల ప్రాంతంలో తమిళనాడులోని తిరుచిరాపల్లి చేరుకుంటారు. అక్కడ భారతిదాసన్ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం 38వ స్నాతకోత్సవంలో ముఖ్య అతిథిగా పాల్గొంటారు. అనంతరం మధ్యాహ్నం 12:00 గంటల ప్రాంతంలో నగరంలో నిర్వహించే కార్యక్రమాల్లో భాగంగా పౌర విమానయానం, రైలు, రోడ్డు, చమురు-గ్యాస్, ఉన్నత విద్యా రంగాలకు చెందిన రూ.19,850 కోట్లకుపైగా విలువైన పలు అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టుల ప్రారంభం, శంకుస్థాపన, జాతికి అంకితం చేస్తారు.
