The Union Cabinet chaired by PM Modi has approved a Scheme for Promotion of Surface Coal/Lignite Gasification Projects with a financial outlay of Rs. 37,500 crore. ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ అధ్యక్షతన ఈ రోజు సమావేశమైన ఆర్థిక వ్యవహారాల క్యాబినెట్ క్యాబినెట్ కమిటీ గుజరాత్లోని వడినార్లో ఆధునిక సాంకేతికతతో కూడిన నౌకల మరమ్మత్తు కేంద్రం అభివృద్ధికి ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. ఇది దేశంలో నౌకల మరమ్మత్తు వ్యవస్థను విస్తరించడంలో కీలక ముందడుగుగా నిలుస్తుంది. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టును దీన్ దయాళ్ పోర్టు అథారిటీ (డీపీఏ), కొచ్చిన్ షిప్ యార్డ్ లిమిటెడ్ (సీఎస్ఎల్) రూ.1,570 కోట్ల ఉమ్మడి పెట్టుబడితో సంయుక్తంగా అమలు చేస్తాయి.
