ఈ రోజు అద్భుతమైనది… ఈ క్షణం మరపురానిది.. ఈ దృశ్యం అసాధారణమైనది. నాకు ఒకవైపు విశాలమైన అనంత సముద్రం ఉంది.. మరొక వైపు భారత మాత ధీర సైనికుల అపారమైన సామర్థ్యం ఉంది. నాకు ఒక దిక్కు అనంతమైన విశ్వం, అంతులేని ఆకాశం ఉన్నాయి.. మరో దిక్కు అనంతమైన శక్తిని కలిగి ఉన్న అద్భుత ఐఎన్ఎస్ విక్రాంత్ ఉంది. సముద్రపు నీటిపై పడ్డ సూర్యకాంతి మెరుపు.. ఒక విధంగా మన వీర సైనికులు వెలిగించే దీపావళి దీపాల మాదిరిగా ఉంది. మన దివ్యమైన వెలుగుల మాలికలు ఇవి. ఈసారి నేను మన నావికాదళ యోధుల మధ్య దీపావళి పండుగను చేసుకోవటం నాకు కలిగిన గొప్ప అదృష్టంగా భావిస్తున్నాను.
