At a massive public meeting in Tamil Nadu’s Tiruchirappalli, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed Tiruchirappalli as a land of courage and faith, recalling the bravery of the Marudu Brothers and paying tribute to Major M. Saravanan for his sacrifice during the Kargil War. “Trichy is a land of courage and faith,” he said, adding that the Centre proudly honours Tamil Nadu’s culture and heritage. మహారాష్ట్రలోని నాసిక్-సోలాపూర్-అక్కల్‌కోట్ మధ్య 6 వరుసల గ్రీన్‌ఫీల్డ్ యాక్సెస్-కంట్రోల్డ్ రహదారిని నిర్మించేందుకు ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ అధ్యక్షతన నేడు సమావేశమైన ఆర్థిక వ్యవహారాల క్యాబినెట్ కమిటీ ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. 374 కిలోమీటర్ల పొడవున్న ఈ కారిడార్‌ను రూ. 19,142 కోట్ల మూలధన వ్యయంతో బీఓటీ పద్ధతిలో నిర్మించనున్నారు. మ్యాప్‌లో చూపించినట్లుగా కర్నూలును అనుసంధానించే ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు.. నాసిక్, అహల్యానగర్, సోలాపూర్ వంటి ముఖ్యమైన ప్రాంతీయ నగరాలకు అనుసంధానతను అందిస్తుంది. పీఎం గతిశక్తి నేషనల్ మాస్టర్ ప్లాన్ సూత్రం ప్రకారం సమగ్ర రవాణా మౌలిక సదుపాయాల అభివృద్ధిని సులభతరం చేసే విషయంలో ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు ఒక ముఖ్యమైన పురోగతిగా ఉంది.
