ప్రధానమంత్రి శ్రీ నరేంద్ర మోదీ ఇవాళ శ్రీనగర్‌లోని ‘షేర్-ఎ-కశ్మీర్ ఇంటర్నేషనల్ కాన్ఫరెన్స్ సెంటర్’ (ఎస్‌కెఐసిసి)లో ‘‘యువతకు సాధికారత.. జ‌మ్ముక‌శ్మీర్ ప‌రివ‌ర్త‌న‌’’ పేరిట నిర్వ‌హించిన కార్యక్రమంలో ప్రసంగించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా రహదారులు, నీటి సరఫరా సహా ఉన్నత విద్యకు మౌలిక సదుపాయాల కల్పన కోసం రూ.1,500 కోట్లకుపైగా విలువైన పలు అభివృద్ధి పథకాలకు ప్రారంభోత్సవం, శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. అలాగే వ్యవసాయం-అనుబంధ రంగాల్లో పోటీతత్వం మెరుగు (జెకెసిఐపి) లక్ష్యంగా రూ.1,800 కోట్ల విలువైన ప‌థ‌కానికి ఆయన శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. అంతేకాకుండా తాజాగా ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగాలు పొందిన 200 మందికి నియామక ఉత్తర్వులు అందజేసే కార్యక్రమాన్ని కూడా శ్రీ మోదీ ప్రారంభించారు. అనంతరం ఇక్కడ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన ప్రదర్శనను తిలకించి, ఈ కేంద్రపాలిత ప్రాంత యువ విజేతలతో కొద్దిసేపు ముచ్చటించారు.
