PM greets the people of Rajasthan on Rajasthan Diwas

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has greeted the people of Rajasthan on the occasion of Rajasthan Diwas.

“राजस्थान दिवस पर राजस्थान के सभी भाईयों और बहनों को शुभकामनाएं। Greetings to people of Rajasthan on Rajasthan Diwas,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister’s message to the people of Rajasthan further said:

“My dear Brothers and Sisters of Rajasthan,

On Rajasthan Diwas, my greetings to all of you.

Rajasthan is a land known for its splendid culture and glorious history. The people of Rajasthan have always been remembered for their bravery and valour. The people of Rajasthan are known for their industrious nature.

I salute the people of Rajasthan and convey my best wishes for the development journey of the State.”

Announces ex-gratia for the dead and injured

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the deaths in a tractor-trolley mishap in Kanpur today.

He also announced ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be paid to the next of kin of each of the deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000 .

The Prime Minister Office tweeted:

“Distressed by the tractor-trolley mishap in Kanpur. My thoughts are with all those who have lost their near and dear ones. Prayers with the injured. The local administration is providing all possible assistance to the affected: PM @narendramodi”
