புதுதில்லியில் உள்ள தேசிய வேளாண் அறிவியல் மைய வளாகத்தில் வேளாண் பொருளாதார நிபுணர்களின் 32-வது சர்வதேச மாநாட்டை பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி இன்று (03-08-2024) தொடங்கி வைத்தார். இந்த ஆண்டு மாநாட்டின் கருப்பொருள், நிலையான வேளாண்-உணவு முறைகளை நோக்கிய மாற்றம் என்பதாகிம். பருவநிலை மாற்றம், இயற்கை வளங்கள் குறைதல், அதிகரித்து வரும் உற்பத்தி செலவுகள், மோதல்கள் போன்ற உலகளாவிய சவால்களை எதிர்கொள்ள நிலையான விவசாயத்திற்கான அவசர தேவையை சமாளிப்பதை இந்த மாநாடு நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. இந்த மாநாட்டில் 75 நாடுகளைச் சேர்ந்த சுமார் 1,000 பிரதிநிதிகள் பங்கேற்றுள்ளனர்.
