India – Finland Joint Statement on the State Visit of President of the Republic of Finland

At the invitation of PM Modi, Finland President Alexander Stubb is on a State Visit to India from 4-7 March 2026. They held wide-ranging discussions during a bilateral meeting. The two leaders affirmed the deep and enduring friendship between India and Finland, built on a foundation of mutual respect and the values of democracy and rule of law, as well as commitment to global peace, security and international law.

The State visit of Finland President Alexander Stubb to India resulted in several MoUs and agreements being signed. These include areas such as migration and mobility, statistics and environmental cooperation. A major decision to double the present bilateral trade between India and Finland by 2030 (capitalizing on the recently concluded India-EU FTA) was also announced.

PM Modi dedicated to the nation three PARAM Rudra Supercomputers worth around Rs 130 crore. Developed indigenously under the National Supercomputing Mission, these supercomputers have been deployed in Pune, Delhi and Kolkata to facilitate pioneering scientific research. The PM also inaugurated a High-Performance Computing system tailored for weather and climate research.

சுமார் ரூ.130 கோடி மதிப்பிலான மூன்று பரம் ருத்ரா சூப்பர் கம்ப்யூட்டர்களை பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி இன்று காணொலிக் காட்சி மூலம் நாட்டுக்கு அர்ப்பணித்தார். தேசிய சூப்பர் கம்ப்யூட்டிங் இயக்கத்தின் (NSM) கீழ் உள்நாட்டிலேயே உருவாக்கப்பட்ட இந்த சூப்பர் கம்ப்யூட்டர்கள், முன்னோடி அறிவியல் ஆராய்ச்சிக்கு உதவுவதற்காக புனே, டெல்லி மற்றும் கொல்கத்தாவில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன. வானிலை மற்றும் பருவநிலை ஆராய்ச்சிக்காக வடிவமைக்கப்பட்ட உயர் செயல்திறன் கொண்ட கம்ப்யூட்டிங் (HPC) அமைப்பையும் பிரதமர் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
