India-Slovakia Joint Statement

At the invitation of Slovak Republic PM Robert Fico, PM Modi visited Slovakia on 15 June 2026. Both leaders agreed to elevate the India-Slovakia relationship to a Comprehensive Partnership and to regularly review its implementation. They also agreed that the visit represents a significant step forward in transforming India-Slovakia relations and committed to taking bilateral ties into a new phase of engagement.
