During the interaction with farmers at a Krishi programme in New Delhi, PM Modi enquired about their farming practices. Several farmer welfare initiatives like Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, and PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana were discussed. Farmers thanked the Prime Minister for these initiatives and expressed their happiness.
