PM Modi will visit Gujarat and Daman on 5th June, 2026. He will visit Hazira in Surat district to review ongoing industrial operations and infrastructure projects. Later, he will launch projects worth around ₹18,800 crore in Surat. In Daman, he will inaugurate the New Terminal Building of NAMO Airport and NAMO Hospital and also launch projects worth around ₹2,970 crores. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the development of a 4-lane corridor from Badnawar to Timarwani worth ₹3,839.42 crore. It will provide connectivity from Ujjain to the Timarwani interchange at the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway (DME). This will lower logistics costs, facilitate efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods and strengthen access to industrial hubs and MMLPs.
