The state visit of Russian President Putin to India resulted in several key MoUs and agreements covering Migration & Mobility, Health & Food safety, Maritime Cooperation & Polar waters, Fertilizers, Customs & Commerce and Academic & Media collaborations. Programme for the Development of Strategic Areas of India - Russia Economic Cooperation till 2030 is also announced.

In his address at the India–Russia Business Forum, PM Modi conveyed deep gratitude to his friend President Putin for joining the forum. He noted that discussions have commenced on a Free Trade Agreement between India and the Eurasian Economic Union. He remarked that meaningful discussions have taken place over the past two days and expressed his happiness that all areas of India–Russia cooperation were represented.
