PM Modi held a bilateral meeting with the PM of Japan, Sanae Takaichi on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa. The leaders underscored their commitment to deepening the India-Japan partnership for regional and global peace, prosperity and stability. PM Modi met Canada PM Mark Carney on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Johannesburg. The two leaders welcomed the adoption of Australia-Canada-India Technology and Innovation (ACITI) Partnership and appreciated the renewed momentum in ties since their June 2025 meeting in Kananaskis. PM Modi extended an invitation to Canada PM to visit India.
