In his address at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, PM Modi highlighted India’s Quarter-2 GDP growth of over 8%, noting that today’s India is not only transforming itself but also transforming tomorrow. Criticising the use of the term “Hindu rate of growth,” he said India is now striving to shed its colonial mindset and reclaim pride across every sector. The PM appealed to all 140 crore Indians to work together to rid the country fully of the colonial mindset.

கூட்டத்தில் உரையாற்றிய பிரதமர், இந்துஸ்தான் டைம்ஸ் தலைமைத்துவ உச்சிமாநாடு 2023க்கு தன்னை அழைத்ததற்காக ஹெச்.டி குழுமத்திற்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்தார். இந்த தலைமைத்துவ உச்சிமாநாட்டின் கருப்பொருள்களுடன் இந்தியா முன்னோக்கிச் செல்வதற்கான செய்தியை ஹெச்.டி குழுமம் எவ்வாறு எப்போதும் பரப்பி வருகிறது என்பதை திரு மோடி எடுத்துரைத்தார். 2014-ஆம் ஆண்டில் தற்போதைய அரசு ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தபோது, ‘இந்தியாவை மறுவடிவமைத்தல்’ என்ற இந்த உச்சிமாநாட்டின் கருப்பொருளை அவர் நினைவு கூர்ந்தார். மிகப்பெரிய மாற்றங்கள் வரவிருப்பதாகவும், இந்தியா மறுவடிவமைக்கப்படும் என்றும் குழு உணர்ந்துள்ளது என்று அவர் கூறினார். 2019-ஆம் ஆண்டில் தற்போதைய அரசு இன்னும் அதிக பெரும்பான்மையுடன் வெற்றி பெற்று மீண்டும் நிறுவப்பட்டபோது ‘சிறந்த எதிர்காலத்திற்கான உரையாடல்கள்’ என்ற கருப்பொருள் வழங்கப்பட்டதையும் அவர் நினைவு கூர்ந்தார். இப்போது 2023-ஆம் ஆண்டில் பொதுத் தேர்தல் நெருங்கி வரும் நிலையில், மாநாட்டின் கருப்பொருளான ‘தடைகளை உடைத்தல்’ மற்றும் வரவிருக்கும் பொதுத் தேர்தலில் தற்போதைய அரசு அனைத்து சாதனைகளையும் முறியடித்து வெற்றி பெறும் என்ற அடிப்படை செய்தியையும் திரு மோடி எடுத்துரைத்தார். “2024 பொதுத் தேர்தல் முடிவுகள் தடைகளுக்கு அப்பாற்பட்டதாக இருக்கும்” என்று திரு மோடி குறிப்பிட்டார்.

At the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, PM Narendra Modi today said that creating a corruption free, citizen centric and development friendly ecosystem was the priority for the Government. Speaking about demonization, the PM mentioned how it brought a behavioural change in the society and helped move towards a formal economy. He termed GST as a vital move and said it was aimed at ensuring transparency in the system.
