From waste to wealth: PM Modi showcases Surat’s green development model

At the launch of development projects in Surat, Gujarat, PM Modi called upon all elected representatives of local bodies to work even harder for the state's progress. Expressing pride in Surat being one of the cleanest cities in the country, he lauded the continuous efforts of all stakeholders. He credited Gujarat for its significant contribution to India's energy self-reliance, noting that the state produces one-fifth (50 GW) of the nation's 250 GW renewable energy capacity.

பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி இன்று (ஜூன் 05, 2026) குஜராத்தின் சூரத் நகரில் 18,800 கோடி ரூபாய்க்கும் அதிக மதிப்பிலான பல உட்கட்டமைப்புத் திட்டங்களைத் தொடங்கி வைத்து, அடிக்கல் நாட்டினார். மேலும் பல்வேறு முடிவுற்றத் திட்டங்களை நாட்டிற்கு அர்ப்பணித்தார். சாலை, மின்சாரம், தொழிற்துறை சார்ந்த இந்த திட்டங்கள் அந்தப் பிராந்திய வளர்ச்சியை துரிதப்படுத்துவதுடன் அப்பகுதி மக்களின் வாழ்க்கைத்தரத்தை மேம்படுத்த பெரிதும் உதவும் எனப் பிரதமர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
