உத்தரபிரதேச மாநிலம் வாரணாசியில் இன்று தொடங்கிய (04.01.2025) 72-வது தேசிய வாலிபால் (கைப்பந்து) போட்டியை பிரதமர் திரு நரேந்திர மோடி காணொலிக் காட்சி மூலம் தொடங்கி வைத்தார். நிகழ்ச்சியில் உரையாற்றிய திரு நரேந்திர மோடி, வாரணாசி நாடாளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் என்ற முறையில், அனைத்து வீரர்களையும் வரவேற்று வாழ்த்துவதில் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைவதாகக் குறிப்பிட்டார். தேசிய கைப்பந்து சாம்பியன்ஷிப் இன்று முதல் வாரணாசியில் தொடங்குகிறது என்று அவர் கூறினார். வீரர்கள் மிகுந்த கடின உழைப்புக்குப் பிறகு இந்த தேசிய போட்டிக்கு வந்துள்ளனர் என்றும், அவர்களின் முயற்சிகள் வரும் நாட்களில் வாரணாசி மைதானத்தில் வெளிப்படும் என்றும் பிரதமர் எடுத்துரைத்தார். நாட்டின் 28 மாநிலங்களைச் சேர்ந்த அணிகள் ஒன்றுகூடி, 'ஒரே பாரதம், உன்னத பாரதம்' என்ற செய்தியை வழங்கியுள்ளன என்றும் அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார். தமது வாழ்த்துக்களைத் தெரிவித்து, சாம்பியன்ஷிப்பில் பங்கேற்கும் அனைவருக்கும் பிரதமர் பாராட்டுகளைத் தெரிவித்தார்.
