பிரதமர் திரு. நரேந்திர மோடி தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற மத்திய அமைச்சரவைக் குழு கூட்டத்தில், தில்லி மற்றும் அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளில், காற்று மாசுவைக் குறைப்பதற்கும், சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கு உகந்த போக்குவரத்து முறைகளை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்கும், முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த இரண்டு ஆண்டு காலத் திட்டத்திற்கு ஒப்புதல் அளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இத்திட்டத்திற்கான நிதி, மத்திய வீட்டுவசதி மற்றும் நகர்ப்புற விவகாரங்கள் அமைச்சகத்தின் கீழ் செயல்படும் தேசிய தலைநகர் மண்டலத் திட்டமிடல் வாரியம் வாயிலாக வழங்கப்படும். மேலும், இத்திட்டம், மத்திய சாலைப் போக்குவரத்து மற்றும் நெடுஞ்சாலைகள் அமைச்சகம், மத்திய பெட்ரோலியம் மற்றும் இயற்கை எரிவாயு அமைச்சகம் ஆகியவற்றால் செயல்படுத்தப்படும். தில்லி, ஹரியானா, ராஜஸ்தான், உத்தரப்பிரதேசம் ஆகிய மாநிலங்கள், யூனியன் பிரதேசங்களின் ஒத்துழைப்புடன் இந்த திட்டம் நடைமுறைப் படுத்தப்படும்.
