At the invitation of Prime Minister of India, H.E. Shri Narendra Modi, the General Secretary of Central Committee of Communist Party of Viet Nam, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, H.E. Mr. To Lam, paid a State Visit to India from 05 May to 07 May 2026. General Secretary, President H.E. Mr. To Lam was accompanied by a high-level delegation. In his address at the India-UK CEO Forum, PM Modi remarked that the forum has emerged as an important pillar of the India-UK Strategic Partnership. He highlighted that CETA is not merely a trade agreement — it is a roadmap for shared progress, shared prosperity, and shared peoples between two of the world’s largest economies.
