PM Modi was conferred Trinidad & Tobago’s highest national honour — The Order of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago — at a special ceremony in Port of Spain. He dedicated the award to the 1.4 billion Indians and the historic bonds of friendship between the two nations, rooted in shared heritage. PM Modi also reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia

PM Modi will visit Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina, Brazil and Namibia from July 02-09, 2025. In Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago and Argentina, the PM will hold talks with their Presidents to review the strong bilateral partnership. In Brazil, the PM will attend the 17th BRICS Summit 2025 and also hold several bilateral meetings. In Namibia, PM Modi will hold talks with the President of Namibia and deliver an address at the Parliament of Namibia.
