PM Modi will be on a 3 day visit to Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar from 13th to 15th Sep. In Mizoram, he will inaugurate the Bairabi-Sairang New Rail line. In Manipur, he will launch projects worth over ₹7,300 crore. The PM will join Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’s centenary celebrations in Assam. In West Bengal, he will address the Combined Commanders’ Conference in Kolkata. In Bihar, PM Modi will unveil the new Purnea Airport terminal and launch the National Makhana Board.

Dedicating the Tuirial Hydropower Project in Mizoram, PM Modi today said that the project would boost the socio-economic development of the State. The PM said that besides electricity the reservoir water would open new avenues for navigation; provide connectivity to remote villages and development of fisheries.
