Study group of senior officers from National Defence College meets Hon'ble CM

A study group of senior officers from the National Defence College, led by Major General Anil Malik acquainted themselves with the Gujarat’s success stories in different fields during an hour long meeting with Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today. They evinced interest as to how the state’s development model could be bring about qualitative change in the country’s work culture.

The 17-member group from Army, Navy and Air Force during the interactive session with Mr. Modi showed interest in the Gujarat’s development model, administrative skill for good governance and strategic planning and their successful implementation.

Mr. Modi expressed his viewpoints on the potentials of the country’s vast youth force in making a strong democratic nation. He said the state’s strength is more in people’s participation in various government schemes. He also suggested setting up a Youth Incubation Centre in the state to give a new thrust to the youth to embrace new ideas, new initiatives.

Some senior Army officers from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka also accompanied the study group.
