Shri Narendra Modi on a visit to Pune today
The Chief Minister will speak on good governance at an event organized by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini
In another event he will honour Sanskrit scholar Shri Vasantrao Gadgil and launch Sanskrit Mahakavya Book ‘Bheemayanam’.
Gujarat chief minister Shri Narendra Modi is on one-day Pune visit today. He will speak on good governance at an event organized by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini. The event has been organised to mark 30 years of Prabodhini. Shri Modi will grace the event as chief guest. The programme starts 6:00 pm at Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, JM Road.In another event, Shri Modi will honor Sanskrit scholar Shri Vasantrao Gadgil and launch a Sanskrit Mahakavya book ‘Bheemayanam’ on life of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Pandit Shri. Vasantrao Gadgil has dedicated 61 years for the propagation and development of Sanskrit Language with 91 publications by Sharada Dyanpeetham, out of which Bheemayanam is the latest edition. This event commences at 4:30 pm at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, MIT, Kothrud.
Just a few days ago, an 80-member delegation from Pune called on the Chief Minister during which they heard his valuable insights on urban development.
In March this year, Shri Modi had visited Pune during which he kicked off the centennial celebrations of Pune’s Gujarat Bandhu Samaj and attended various programmes including diamond jubilee celebration of an eye hospital, a visit to Shri Mohan Dharia’s ‘Vanrai’ institute and a visit to Suzlon Group’s energy headquarter ‘One Earth.’
