Rakshabandhan celebration at the Chief Minister’s residence

Rakshabandhan celebration took place at Chief Minister Narendra Modi's residence. Physically challenged girls and women of all the classes came to tie the Rakhi to Chief Minister and to strengthen the bond of love and protection.

Celebration took place in the morning at his residence. Women employees of his cabinet ministers including Anandi Ben Patel, mayors, officials of BJP party, Bhramkumaris and NCC cadets tied the Rakhi to Chief Minister.

Narendra Modi on this occasion mentioned that RakshaBandhan is one such festival that shows the richness of our Indian culture and tradition; it is an auspicious bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters.
