The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of noted Onco-Surgeon Dr. Devendra Patel. The Prime Minister recalled Dr Patel's contribution in boosting health infrastructure and cancer care.

The Prime Minister tweeted :

"Dr. Devendra Patel earned the respect and goodwill of countless people due to his efforts to boost health infrastructure and cancer care. His deep knowledge of medicine and compassionate nature will always be remembered. Pained by his demise. Condolences to his family. Om Shanti."
