The New India has now demonstrated its strict resolve to deal with terrorists: PM
We are working to eliminate terrorism, Opposition wants to remove Modi: PM
The whole nation proudly supports its Armed Forces but some Opposition leaders are actively questioning the valor and capabilities of our security forces: PM

Speaking at length about the menace of terrorism and how it is being handled by the Indian security forces, PM Modi said, “The New India has now demonstrated its strict resolve to deal with terrorists. They have been told to either mend their ways by ceasing such illegal activities or else they will be punished in their own language.”

He further added that while the whole nation proudly supports its Armed Forces, some political leaders were actively questioning the valor and capabilities of our security forces to defeat terrorism, among which, one popular leader from Madhya Pradesh Congress is at the forefront of doubting operations of our security forces.

PM Modi elaborated, “This leader from Madhya Pradesh even termed the dastardly terrorist attack on the CRPF in Pulwama, an ‘accident’ and not a terrorist attack which it actually is. This is the kind of terror-apologist mentality that certain political leaders close to the ‘First Family’ have. This same leader called the world’s most wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden a ‘a peace activist’ and also gave a clean chit to Pakistan over its role in the 26/11 Mumbai Terrorist attack. Can we expect the Congress party, whose leaders are terror-apologists to the core that it will act strongly against terror? We cannot because due to this silence of Congress leaders, the acts of terrorists were never retaliated strongly enough and this boosted the morale of vicious terrorists.”

Prime Minister Modi also described some of the major initiatives and schemes for the empowerment of poor people such as the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, PM-KISAN Yojana and PM-SYM Yojana which will not only improve the quality of life for people but also go a long way in ensuring financial security to the most vulnerable sections of society. Prime Minister concluded by reminding his supporters the difference between the BJP and the Opposition. He said that while he wants to eliminate terrorism, they (Opposition) want to remove Modi, which shows that while the BJP wants progress, the Opposition only wants to get back to power.

The event was also attended by several other dignitaries including former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
