PM Modi wishes the people of Indonesia on their Independence Day
PM Modi expresses hope that economic ties between India and Indonesia would flourish in the coming years

Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has greeted the people of Indonesia on their Independence Day.

“On their Independence Day, I extend my greetings and wishes to the people of Indonesia. History brings us together and both nations cherish the democratic framework," the Prime Minister said.

Recalling his meeting with the President of Indonesia, the Prime Minster said, “I warmly recall my meeting with President Joko Widodo. I am hopeful that economic ties between our nations will flourish in the coming years.”

PM announces ex-gratia for the victims of Kasganj accident

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has announced ex-gratia for the victims of Kasganj accident. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased and the injured would be given Rs. 50,000.

The Prime Minister Office posted on X :

"An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased in the mishap in Kasganj. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000"
