The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. 

"In King Abdullah, we have lost an important voice who left a lasting impact on his country. I condole his demise.

Our thoughts are with the people of Saudi Arabia, who have lost a guiding force in King Abdullah, during this hour of grief.

A few days ago I spoke to Crown Prince Salman and enquired about King Abdullah's health. News of King Abdullah's passing away is saddening", the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has paid homage to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his Mahaparinirvan Diwas, today. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi remarked that Dr. Ambedkar’s tireless fight for equality and human dignity continues to inspire generations.

In a X post, the Prime Minister said;

"On Mahaparinirvan Diwas, we bow to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of our Constitution and a beacon of social justice.

Dr. Ambedkar’s tireless fight for equality and human dignity continues to inspire generations. Today, as we remember his contributions, we also reiterate our commitment to fulfilling his vision.
