At 2:00 PM on the afternoon of Sunday 30th September 2012 Shri Narendra Modi started another stretch of the Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra from Dhandhuka in Ahmedabad district. Despite the sweltering heat, thousands and thousands of people came to extend their support to the Yatra and Shri Modi in the afternoon. Shri Modi announced the creation of a separate Dholera Taluka on the occasion.Shri Modi spoke about the positive difference the Narmada waters have brought in the lives of the people of the area.
He said that the people must be aware of the lies and the cheating under the Congress-led UPA rule. Shri Modi reminded the people about the Congress promise to reduce prices in 100 days if they were elected; but today not only are the poor people suffering but also the middle class families are seeing the adverse effect of rising prices. If this is not enough, by bringing FDI in retail the UPA is putting the future of all small manufacturers in serious jeopardy.
Shri Modi affirmed that the nation has no confidence in any commitments the Prime Minister is making to the people.
Giving a befitting reply to the gimmicks of Union Minister Kapil Sibal, Shri Modi asked him to first fulfill his promise to provide Aakash tablets to 10 lakh youth of the nation in 2011 and make an honest effort to ensure quality computing and access devises to the youth.
The Chief Minister said that the Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra is an effort to integrate the Yuva Shakti with the progress journey of the nation. He recalled that Swami Vivekananda has immense faith in the youth, who would turn his dream of Jagad Guru Bharat into a reality and added that Gujarat is leaving no stone unturned to fulfill Swami ji’s dreams.
Speaking on the occasion, Gujarat BJP President Shri RC Faldu stated that the Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra is generating a wonderful response across Gujarat. Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama reminded that in the coming days Shri Modi will complete 11 years in service of the people of Gujarat as their Chief Minister.
