15ਵੇਂ ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਸਮਿਟ (15th BRICS Summit) ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ

ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ 23 ਅਗਸਤ 2023 ਨੂੰ ਜੋਹਾਨਸਬਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਖਣ ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ 15ਵੇਂ ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਸਮਿਟ (15th BRICS Summit) ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ।

 

ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਲਮੀ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਸੁਧਾਰ, ਅਫਰੀਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਸਾਊਥ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰੀ ਸਹਿਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਏਜੰਡਾ (BRICS agenda) ’ਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਹੋਈ ਪ੍ਰਗਤੀ ਦੀ ਭੀ ਸਮੀਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ।

 

ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ (a strengthened BRICS) ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਹੈ:

ਬੀ- ਬ੍ਰੇਕਿੰਗ ਬੈਰੀਅਰਸ (ਰੁਕਾਵਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨਾ)

 

ਆਰ- ਰਿਵਾਇਟਲਾਇਜਿੰਗ ਇਕੌਨਮੀਜ਼ (ਅਰਥਵਿਵਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਨਰਜੀਵਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ)

 

ਆਈ – ਇੰਸਪਾਇਰਿੰਗ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ (ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ)

 

ਸੀ –ਕ੍ਰਿਏਟਿੰਗ ਔਪਾਰਚੁਨਿਟੀਜ਼ (ਅਵਸਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨਾ)

 

ਐੱਸ- ਸ਼ੇਪਿੰਗ ਦ ਫਿਊਚਰ (ਭਵਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਆਕਾਰ ਦੇਣਾ)

ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਨਿਮਨਲਿਖਿਤ ਪਹਿਲੂਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਭੀ ਚਾਨਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ:

 

 

·        ਯੂਐੱਨਐੱਸਸੀ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਂ(UNSC reforms) ਦੇ ਲਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀਮਾ ਤੈਅ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ

·        ਬਹੁਪੱਖੀ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ (Multilateral Financial Institutions) ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ

 

·        ਡਬਲਿਊਟੀਓ (WTO) ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ

 

·        ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ (BRICS) ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਆਮ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ

 

·        ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ (BRICS) ਨੂੰ ਧੁਰਵੀਕਰਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਏਕਤਾ ਦਾ ਆਲਮੀ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਣ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ

 

·        ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਸਪੇਸ ਐਕਸਪਲੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੰਸੋਰਟੀਅਮ (BRICS Space Exploration Consortium) ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ

 

·        ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰਾਂ (BRICS partners) ਨੂੰ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਇਨਫ੍ਰਾਸਟ੍ਰਕਚਰ-ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਟੈਕ (Indian Digital Public Infrastructure - the Indian stack ) ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

 

·        ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ (BRICS countries) ਦੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਸਕਿੱਲ ਮੈਪਿੰਗ, ਕੌਸ਼ਲ (skilling) ਅਤੇ ਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਲਾਰਾ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ

 

·        ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਬਿਗ ਕੈਟ ਅਲਾਇੰਸ (International Big Cat Alliance) ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਚੀਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ਼ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ (BRICS countries )ਦੇ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਪ੍ਰਯਾਸਾਂ  ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ

 

·        ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਗਤ ਦਵਾਈ ਦਾ ਭੰਡਾਰ (a repository of traditional medicine) ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵ

 

 

·        ਬ੍ਰਿਕਸ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰਾਂ (BRICS partners ) ਨੂੰ ਜੀ20 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਫਰੀਕਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੀ(AU’s) ਸਥਾਈ ਸਦੱਸਤਾ (ਮੈਂਬਰੀ) ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ

Prime Minister condoles the loss of lives in a mishap at a cracker factory in Thrissur, Keralam

PM announces ex-gratia from PMNRF

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the loss of lives due to a mishap at a cracker factory in Thrissur, Keralam. Shri Modi also wished speedy recovery for those injured in the mishap.

The Prime Minister announced an ex-gratia from PMNRF of Rs. 2 lakh to the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 for those injured.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

“Saddened to hear about the loss of lives due to the mishap at a cracker factory in Thrissur, Keralam. My deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. May the injured recover at the earliest: PM @narendramodi"
