PM Modi addressed an overflowing crowd gathered at a public meeting in Kolkata where he declared that Bengal’s rise is essential for India’s rise. He firmly reassured, “The BJP government at the Centre has continuously supported Bengal’s growth. From highways to railways, Bengal has received three times more funds than under UPA. But the biggest challenge is that funds sent from Delhi are looted by the state government and not spent on people’s welfare. ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਕਰਨਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਬੰਗਲੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ 7,160 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਵਾਲੀ ਬੰਗਲੁਰੂ ਮੈਟਰੋ ਦੀ ਯੈਲੋ ਲਾਇਨ (Yellow Line of Bangalore Metro) ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਅਤੇ 15,160 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਅਧਿਕ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਵਾਲੀ ਬੰਗਲੁਰੂ ਮੈਟਰੋ ਫੇਜ਼-3 ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੰਗਲੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਕੇਐੱਸਆਰ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ (KSR Railway Station) ‘ਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਐਕਸਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਾਂ (Vande Bharat Express trains) ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਰੀ ਝੰਡੀ ਦਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਅਵਸਰ ‘ਤੇ ਇਕੱਠ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਰਨਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ‘ਤੇ ਕਦਮ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਅਲੱਗ ਆਤਮੀਅਤਾ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਹੋਇਆ। ਕਰਨਾਟਕ ਦਾ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ, ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨੇਹ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਗਹਿਰਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਛੂਹ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕੰਨੜ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੀ ਮਧੁਰਤਾ ਦਾ ਉਲੇਖ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਬੰਗਲੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਅਧਿਸ਼ਠਾਤਰੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਅੰਨੰਮਾ ਥਾਯੀ (Bengaluru’s presiding deity, Annamma Thayi) ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਸੁਮਨ ਅਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ। ਇਹ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ, ਨਾਦਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਕੇਂਪੇਗੌੜਾ (Nadaprabhu Kempegowda) ਨੇ ਬੰਗਲੁਰੂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਰੱਖੀ ਸੀ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੇਂਪੇਗੌੜਾ (Kempegowda) ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਐਸੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਕਲਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਓਤਪ੍ਰੋਤ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਨਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਉਚਾਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੂਹੇ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਬੰਗਲੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਸ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਜੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਜ, ਬੰਗਲੁਰੂ ਉਸੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।”ਵਾਰਾਣਸੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਣ /ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ-ਪਾਠ
