The state visit of Russian President Putin to India resulted in several key MoUs and agreements covering Migration & Mobility, Health & Food safety, Maritime Cooperation & Polar waters, Fertilizers, Customs & Commerce and Academic & Media collaborations. At the invitation of PM Modi, Russian President Putin paid a State Visit to India for the 23rd India–Russia Annual Summit. The Leaders positively assessed the multifaceted and mutually beneficial India–Russia relations that span all areas of cooperation. As this year marks the 25th anniversary of the Declaration on Strategic Partnership between India and Russia, the two Leaders reaffirmed their support for further strengthening the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.
