During the meeting between PM Modi and Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed Ali, India-Ethopia bilateral ties are elevated to 'Strategic Partnership'. Several treaties and MoUs were signed in areas including Customs, Scholarships, Artificial Intelligence, United Nations Peacekeeping, Healthcare and Neonatal care.

Visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jordan, Ethiopia, and Oman

PM Modi will visit Jordan, Ethiopia and Oman from December 15 – 18, 2025. In Jordan, the PM will meet His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to review the India-Jordan relations. In Ethiopia, the PM will hold discussions with Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed Ali on all aspects of India – Ethiopia bilateral ties. During the PM's visit to Oman, both sides will comprehensively review the bilateral partnership and exchange views on various issues.
