ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੰਡਲ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸੈਮੀਕੰਡਕਟਰ ਡਿਜਾਈਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸੈਮੀਕੌਨ 2.0 ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੁੱਲ 1,27,500 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਬਜਟ ਖਰਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਨੇ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਫੋਨ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਯੋਜਨਾ (ਐੱਮਪੀਐੱਮਐੱਸ) ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ
